Job: Coordinator, Trust & Technology Initiative

We're looking for a new Coordinator to help shape Cambridge's strategic research agenda round trust, technology, and society. 

A key focus will be to lead and support fundraising activities, helping us plan and deliver our strategy and vision. Developing and managing relationships within and outside the University is an important aspect of the position, as is taking an active role in communicating and promoting the activities of the Initiative.

We're looking for someone who is familiar with interdisciplinary research the fundraising of research projects. A good first degree and a general knowledge of the HE sector, particularly of the research environment, are essential. A higher degree and/or research experience and a broader cultural knowledge of the policies and procedures of the University of Cambridge would be desirable.

The Trust & Technology Initiative brings together and drives forward interdisciplinary research from Cambridge and beyond to explore the dynamics of trust and distrust in relation to internet technologies, society and power; to better inform trustworthy design and governance of next generation tech at the research and development stage; and to promote informed, critical, and engaging voices supporting individuals, communities and institutions in light of technology’s increasing pervasiveness in societies.
