My research interests lie in the field of social signal processing and human behaviour understanding, which includes expressions of emotions or medical conditions. My research draws on computer vision, machine learning, Human Computer Interaction (HCI) and psychology. I have worked on different projects that explored building computer vision and machine learning algorithms for the automotive domain and the healthcare field. The issues of trust and ethics in machine learning are directly related to my research and of particular interest to me as a researcher in the machine learning field.
