Jat is an EPSRC Jat is an EPSRC Research Fellow at the Department of Computer Science & Technology, where he leads the newly formed “Compliant and Accountable Systems” research group. His research concerns the technical and legal aspects of emerging technology, taking an interdisciplinary approach towards issues of security, privacy, transparency, accountability and agency as it relates to ICT. Jat is a Fellow at the Alan Turing Institute, and is active in the tech-policy space, serving on advisory councils for the UK Government and Financial Conduct Authority., where he leads the newly formed “Compliant and Accountable Systems” research group.
